In 2023, Hugo completed his MSc in Biostatistics at the Institut de Santé Publique Et d’Epidémiologie (ISPED) in Bordeaux. During his studies, Hugo has improved his programming skills in both R and SAS, and acquired experience in statistics.

During his Master’s, Hugo completed two internships at Inserm in the Molecular epidemiology of vascular and brain disorders (ELEANOR) team in Bordeaux where he worked during more than 6 months on the recurrence of the venous thrombosis embolism (VTE) that aimed to find genetics polymorphisms associated with the recurrence of this disease. He also implemented an innovative approach using survival random forests.
