Gerrit Vandenberg

Gerrit received his master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University in 2019 with a focus on healthcare management. He also has a BS in Global Resource Systems from Iowa State University. Gerrit has three years of experience working in underdeveloped communities to improve disease outcomes. Specifically, he has conducted research in Uganda and India, focusing on malaria prevalence and understanding the impact of climate on Dengue prevalence, respectively. In addition, he has experience in patient recruitment from his time as a graduate research assistant at the Center of Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research (CHOIR), part of the VA healthcare system in Bedford, MA.
