ISOQOL’s annual conference will be a key milestone for us at Modus this year. Not only because 5 years ago the idea of Modus Outcomes came about after a meeting in Dublin and a Guinness or two, but also because we will be presenting our research! On Wednesday afternoon (October 24), Antoine will co-lead a workshop on a topic very close to his heart, Cross-Cultural Clinical Outcome Assessment. On Friday afternoon (October 26), we will be supporting a presentation showcasing how a concept-driven measurement approach can be effectively applied to item banks – specifically the EORTC item library. To round out the conference, on Saturday morning (October 27) Stefan will give a plenary talk in the session entitled “Plenary 4: Generalizability of validity data across diseases and treatment settings: When is enough, enough?”. If you plan on attending ISOQOL, let us know! We would be happy to get together over a Guinness!
